Publication Ethics and Malpractice Policy – Magna Scientia Publication

Magna Scientia Publication is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. Our journals follow internationally recognized best practices for editorial integrity, peer review, and ethical publishing, aligning with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. We expect ethical conduct from all parties involved, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editorial Decisions

Editors are responsible for determining which manuscripts are accepted for publication, based on originality, quality, and relevance. All decisions are guided by ethical standards and legal requirements regarding plagiarism, copyright, and defamation.

Fair Assessment

Manuscripts are evaluated objectively, without bias related to gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, political beliefs, or other personal characteristics.

Confidentiality

Editors and editorial staff must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential and share information only with relevant parties such as reviewers, authors, and the publisher when necessary.

Conflicts of Interest

Editors must avoid using unpublished material for personal gain or research and must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Supporting Editorial Decisions

Peer reviewers assist editors in making informed decisions and provide constructive feedback to enhance manuscript quality.

Timeliness

Reviewers should promptly notify the editor if they are unable to review a manuscript, allowing reassignment to ensure timely evaluation.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts under review must remain confidential and should not be shared or discussed without permission from the editorial office.

Objectivity

Reviews should be impartial and supported by evidence. Personal or derogatory comments about authors are unacceptable.

Proper Citation of Sources

Reviewers are expected to alert editors to any uncited relevant work or substantial overlap with previously published research.

Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must decline assignments where conflicts of interest exist and must not use privileged information for personal benefit.

Responsibilities of Authors

Accuracy and Reporting

Authors must ensure that all research is presented honestly, accurately, and in sufficient detail for replication. Fabrication, falsification, or misleading statements are strictly prohibited.

Data Access and Retention

Authors may be required to provide raw data upon request and should retain records for a reasonable period following publication.

Originality and Plagiarism

Manuscripts must be original, and all sources must be properly cited. Plagiarism or duplication of previously published work is not tolerated.

Redundant Publication

Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals is unethical and unacceptable.

Authorship Criteria

Authorship should reflect substantial intellectual contribution. All authors must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Authors are required to declare any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest, as well as all funding sources.

Correction of Errors

If a significant error is discovered post-publication, authors must promptly notify the editor to issue corrections or retractions as appropriate.

Magna Scientia Publication is committed to preserving the integrity of scholarly records. We adhere to rigorous ethical standards and take appropriate action to prevent and address publication misconduct.
